My wife and I have had a wonderful time with Paul and Cindy on several 10 day cruises. Paul does a great job of researching the areas that he is going to visit, and knows the fun things to do as well as the historical aspects. He has taken us to places that we would never have had the opportunity to see on a land tour. On our last cruise we sailed the coast of Italy from Genoa to Rome and went to some amazing out of the way anchorages as well as the more traditional places that you would expect to see. My husband, Bret, joined us for the most recent sailing adventure and talks of nothing but our next vacation on Sea Star II. One such day we saw a cave on the shoreline and decided to jump on in and snorkel around. It was amazing and beautiful inside the cave and not something you would ever find in a guidebook or on a tour. "Never having been west of Pittsburgh, Captain Lars and First Mate Cindy have afforded me opportunities that I never would have experienced on my own. I have been lucky enough to be with Paul and Cindy six times over the past seven years. While a guest on Sea Star II, I watched an active volcano erupt in the Aeolian Islands and attended a performance of the opera Aida in a two thousand year old theatre in Taormina, Sicily. Paul, as the captain, is always prepared and has carefully planned the best sailing route… to see the best sites!  You will experience things while sailing on Sea Star that would be impossible to see by land or car.  Sitting on Sea Star having a delicious dinner, watching the sunset, and drinking a glass of wine…what more could anyone ask for on vacation!!??  Sea Star is a fabulous memory every time we are on her…from the food, wine, excursions, sailing, to just relaxing!  Kudos to Paul and Cindy for great times and safe sailing"!!
